They are committed to enhancing our services for you. We want to inform you about some important updates regarding our billing processes and infrastructure improvements.
- Introduction of Finance Charges: Starting from the July 1st, 2024 billing cycle, a late payment penalty of 2% will be applied to overdue accounts. This is to encourage timely payments and cover the administrative costs of managing overdue accounts. Please remember that invoice terms are net 30 days.
- Mail-Out Charges: In our commitment to environmental sustainability, a $5 charge will be applied to all invoices for accounts that opt for mail-outs. This covers the printing and postage costs. If you wish to receive your invoices by Canada Post, please contact us to confirm.
- Email Communication: To ensure timely receipt of billing invoices and important notices, and to reduce administrative costs, please ensure we have your updated email address on file. Future important notifications will be sent via email. You can also refer to our website, www.fhswatersewer.com, or our Facebook page for communications. Thank you to those who have already updated their email addresses.
- Transition to Water Meters: We are excited to announce our transition to water meters for all customers, with a target completion date of December 31, 2024. This upgrade will modernize our infrastructure and improve the accuracy of water usage measurement, offering benefits such as more precise billing based on actual usage, early leak detection, and greater efficiency in managing water resources. This will be a significant project, and we will provide further information to ensure a smooth transition.
